The fourth project meeting is going to take place in ESTONIA 20-24 January 2014.

The topic of the meeitng is:  DRUG PREVENTION, HARMFUL USE OF ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO

Welcome to HAAPSALU VOCATIONAL EDUCATION and TRAINING CENTRE :)

PROGRAM

20 January
All day – arriving to Haapsalu, meeting the participants at the hotel (bus station) due to their needs.

21 January
8.25 Meeting the participants at the hotel lounge
8.48 Bus to school from the nearest bus stop
9.00 Breakfast at school (free for all)
9.45 Welcoming speech by Ingrid Danilov, the Headmistress of Haapsalu Vocational Education Centre; introduction to the project activities;
10.00 – 12.00 The presentations of the students. At first every group presents their country and school, after that the students will introduce the results of their surveys and talk about drug prevention and the problems connected with using alcohol and tobacco in their country.
12.00 – 13.00 Introduction to making videos – Kristjan Sootalu and Janar Milbach, the students of Info Technology third course
12.00 – 13.00 the teachers can go to the library and talk how the problems connected with alcohol, drugs and tobacco are settled at their schools.
13.00 Lunch at school (free for all).
14.00 – 16.00 the representatives from an enterprise “Healthy Estonia” are going to talk about drug prevention among young people.
16.00 – 17.00 working in groups – every group picks the theme for the video and sets up the main steps of the working plan for the next days
17.00 We are all going out to eat Pizza together (about 10 minutes walking distance from the school), it’s possible to walk back to the hotel (about 20 minutes walking distance) or take a bus (70 cents).

22 January
Breakfast will be taken to the hostel in the evening (using the kitchen at the hostel is available)
9.40 The students will be picked up from the hostel
10.00 – 11.30 Visit to Haapslu Police
11.50 - the bus back to school
12.00 – 13.00 the students are working with the videos
12.00 – 13.00 the teachers will have a photo session at the handicraft class. Possible to use different Estonian hats, mittens, scarfs and other accessories, the photographer will be present
13.00 Lunch at school (free for all).
14.00 – 16.00 the students are working with the videos
14.00 – 16.00 the teachers can join a workshop “Chocolate makes you smart” – making truffles and cookies together at the school restaurant class by the guidance of cooking students of HKHK.
16.10 – a bus to town
16.20 – 17.40 sightseeing tour in the Bishop Castle, walk on the Promenade, getting acquainted to the Resort Life of Haapsalu   
Free time – possibilities to go to the pizza bar, bowling, shopping, or eat in Taksi pub (a cheap place near the supermarket) etc.
Teachers – cake and coffee at Müüriääre café (a nice cosy place in the old town)

23 January
8.48 Bus to school from the nearest bus stop
9.00 Breakfast at school
The teachers can have a free time for shopping or walking around and will come to school for the lunch time
10.00 – 12.00 – the final work with the videos – the videos have to get ready.
12.00 – 13.00 – the school tour with the students of HKHK
13.00 Lunch at school (free for all).
14.00 – 15.30 the practical workshop of the First Aid – How to act when you have to help your friend in situations connected with drugs or alcohol.
15.30 – 16.30 the groups are presenting their work – watching the videos
16.30 - A Farewell Party with Estonian buffet table, games, winners and goodbyes 
