The third working day in Haapsalu

The morning was busy with completing the videos and giving the last finish to their work. Dispite of the very cold weather all the participants were fit and well and eager to get their work done.
All the videos got ready before lunch. You can watch them in our blog when you choose videos from the menu below. After lunch the students had an opportunity to take part in the First Aid Workshop. The doctor who has bees working in the First Aid brigade for years told the students how to recognize if your friend has taken drugs and how to behave and how to offer help. All the students who wanted could also practice artificial respiration on the doll and got the guidance by the doctor.
The day ended with a farewell party at the school cafe where the students could taste the national festive dishes of Estonia.
The local students helped with entertainment and organized some socializing games. In the first game everyone had to cut a piece of string and while twisting it around the finger, keep telling what did they like and disliked in Estonia. It was very nice to hear that the most frequently mentioned was the friendliness and hospitality of Estonians, despite of the cold weather which was the most disliked thing here. The Estonian students suggested to come back in summer.
After that the winners got their rewards and everyone had possibility to say something about the project activities. The Swedish welcomed us to come to the next meeting in Sweden, which takes place at the beginning of March.
The next competition was a great fun, because the members of both teams had to run as quickly as they could and pick one cloth from the bag, dress very fast and run back to pass the turn to the next team member.
After all the students had dressed into strange clothes that they blindly picked from the bags they wanted to make a group fashion photo.
In the last game the students had to prove that they really had learned the names of all the participants. Half of the group was on one side of the curtain and the other half on the other side. They changed their places and when the curtain was lowered, they had to say the name of the person whom they saw. The game was played as long as nobody made any mistakes with anyone's name. When the teachers were really sure that everyone could call the others by their name we could read the project activities fulfilled and let the students go.
The days in Haapsalu passed quickly, filled with work and fun and the greatest pleasure was finding a lot of new friends.
The happy coordinators of Estonia - Heli Heimo and Enna Kallasvee passed the turn to the Swedish and wished everyone a NICE TRIP BACK HOME
