Purpose of the project

The project is focusing on developing the good social skills and a strong self-image of young people who have a responsible attitude to society and the environment:
1.      promoting HLS among young people studying and stressing on the concept of healthy life style from 5 different viewpoints:
        environment (NORWAY)
        impact and addiction of the internet (SWEDEN)
        gym exercises and when weight becomes a problem (ICELAND)
        food making and eating habits (LATVIA)
        drug prevention, harmful use of alcohol and tobacco (ESTONIA)

2.       strengthening and developing co-operation between youth of the participating countries
3.       focusing on the development of quality, creative and innovative processes in education
4.       adapting new approaches in solving problems using electronic media to create and disseminate information
5.       opening teamwork between youth of partner countries to create the electronic content together

Project content

1.       3 or 2 students and 1 teacher from each country on every mobility are taking part.
2.       International working teams are organized from participated countries.
3.       Every mobility has a different topic.
4.       Before every mobility homework has to be prepared:
·         3 posters in A3 format  
·         a questionnaire and a presentation about the topic made with the gathered information including general facts about the topic in this particular country

In every mobility

ü  the host country introduces the topic generally by professional expert
ü  every school presents the results of the questionnaire and the general facts about their country
ü  on the basis of the presentations main problems (sub-themes) are sorted out
ü  the students are divided into groups and every group gets allocated one of sub-themes (problems)
ü  in groups the students are finding solutions to their problem and do preparations for making a video:
a)      they analyze the sub-theme in their multicultural group
b)      try to find out the reasons why this problem has become a problem
c)       find solutions
d)      find ways how to talk about it to young people
ü  every group has to make 3-5 min video clip about their sub-theme
ü  on the last day all video clips are presented and the best 3 video are selected. Also the best posters are selected

The result of every activity

ü  the best poster and the best 3 video clips are selected
ü  in created blog every group has recorded their part of mobility at the process
ü  all the presentations are linked to the blog
ü  the best 3 video clips of each topic are linked to the blog and shared in YouTube
ü  best selected videos are launched at Mobility 6 in Finland at a GALA performance which will be organized in frames of study program "Planning and implementation of marketing activities''

·         Examination of the chosen theme
·         Drafting of the manuscript for video, storyboard, planning filming location and props
·         Filming
·         Editing and sound design
·         Presentation and feedback
Making video professional support is provided by host school if possible.
